With HeyGen's voice cloning feature, you can now create an AI clone of your voice for your Custom Avatar Lite or Custom Avatar Pro. Voice cloning is an advanced technology that uses artificial intelligence to create a replica of a natural human voice. This feature is available as a paid add-on for HeyGen Custom Avatars, and currently only English language is supported.

Creating an AI voice clone with HeyGen is a simple and straightforward process. You can create the AI voice along with your Custom Avatar by using the same video footage recorded according to our instructions guide for Custom Avatars. However, the video footage must meet certain requirements in order to ensure the best possible quality for your AI voice:
If you prefer not to use the footage of your Custom Avatar to generate your AI voice, you can create it separately by submitting a 10-minute audio recording that meets the aforementioned requirements. Please ensure that the recording has a sample rate of 48kHz, is monophonic, and has a bit depth of 24 bits to ensure optimal performance. You can prepare the script by yourself or follow our sample script for the recording.
Once your recorded footage or audio recording meets the above requirements, you can create an AI voice as a paid add-on to your Custom Avatar. For your protection, you'll also need to record a formal consent statement authorizing HeyGen to use the footage to build your HeyGen Avatar and AI voice, and to use them on your HeyGen account.
